      Description

The ideal spot for nature, history and serenity lovers! The ideal property to be owned by you! Hurry up and invest wisely!
This fully restored 19th century house, situated in an architectural reserve village is encompassed by magnificent mountain nature: authentic old-style exterior and interior – cozy rooms, suites with fireplaces, romantic diner, an outstanding spacious garden with ancient barbeque. The house was built in 1836 and its ancient appearance and spirit have been preserved ever since – with stonewalls, the wide gate, the overhanging stone roofs and traditional furnishing. Old masters have created a wonderful harmony and lasting beauty out of stone, wood and wrought iron.
There are plenty of things to be seen and done in the area. You can visit the ethnographic complex – Etura to see functioning 17th century workshops, producing textiles, pottery, wrought iron, knives, pastries; take a two-hour hike through the mountain and visit the old crafts-center of Triavna – famous for its wood-carving and icon-painting schools; or drive to the medieval capital of Bulgaria – Veliko Turnovo and the numerous adjoining monasteries. You can have a trip to the hometown of the Bulgarian Rose – Kazanluk and visit to the Thracian Tomb /UNESCO/, discovered there; on the way to stop at Shipka peak and monument and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view over the mountain as well as at the richly adorned Russian church in the village of Shipka. You must certainly visit the ancient capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom – the town of Veliko Tarnovo and its “St. Peter and Paul” church and medieval fortress “Tzarevets”; walk around the residential area of the 15th century aristocracy – Arbanassi /horseback riding is available there/.
You must also go to the Dryanovo monastery, built in the 12th century and to the “Bacho Kiro” cave, followed by an attractive hike along a 4km long eco-path in the woods, surrounding the monastery.
You should really see the Troyan Monastery & Crafts Fair –  the third largest monastery in Bulgaria, listed by UNESCO for its exquisite wall paintings; at the crafts fair you can observe traditional Bulgarian craftsmanship, try your skills at pottery and taste 5 kinds of locally produced plum brandy for which the region is well-known.
Before Columbus sailed accross the pond, on roadsides winding through quiet European villages stood traveler's inns and guest houses. These oasis places were the hospitality and shelter that created the Innkeeping industry. Similar to their cousin, the Bed & Breakfast, Guest Houses have evolved and filled a much-needed niche in the commerce of travel. A Guest House is usually bigger in rooms and scope than a Bed & Breakfast. They cater to the business traveler, offering upscale accommodations and amenities, often having meeting space and assisting their guests in the conduct of his or her business purpose. And so, as is the American way, we take our lead from the heritage of the Europeans and modify it to adapt to our culture. GuestHouse & Suites was developed on the age-old concept of offering hospitality and shelter at its finest; not only for the business traveler, but also the vacationer. GuestHouses are unique in style and gracious in service.
The Guesthouse offers 20 beds
• Double Bedrooms – 2
• Twin Bedrooms – 1
• Triple Bedrooms – 2
• Suite - 1 (4 beds)
• Studio - 1 (4 beds)
Go back into the centuries and indulge yourselves in the traditional Bulgarian atmosphere of hospitability and warmness, of real-tasting food, coming straight from the garden and remarkable wines, accompanied by unique folklore music and dances.
A small, family-run, boutique hotel located in the heart of Bulgaria: a cozy accommodation, delicious home-cooked food and excellent wines in authentic traditional old Bulgarian style; great opportunities for eco, rural & culture tourism in the area; best suited for Walking and Biking Trips along the unspoilt forest tracks of Stara Planina mountain. If you want to feel the atmosphere of old times this is the best property for you! Inspired by the beauty and calmness of this region, many Bulgarian writers, musicians and painters created some of their greatest works there.
