This marvelous villa is set in a very prestigious hilly area of the town of Balchik, some 43km away from the city of Varna - the second largest in Bulgaria, noted for its marvelous beaches and resorts, fabulous nightlife, etc. It was completed in 2004 offering 190 sq. m. of vast living space. The house is exclusively finished and furnished, and comprises of a fully fitted and equipped with electrical appliances of highest quality brands kitchen, an extended dining room/living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two WCs. The property is entirely air conditioned; it is provided with running water, electricity, and an easy to maintain septic tank. Quality laminated and tiled floors are laid throughout, while all windows are equipped with high quality PVC multi-chambered joinery. Although the parcel of 520 sq. m. seems not to be quite extensive, it still offers enough space to park a car and for planting a lovely garden of your own. Another great idea could be the building of either a swimming pool or a BBQ area with roofed dining space, which will surely increase the property’s value in the future. The town of Balchik is a small resort town situated 43km to the north of Varna and only 17km off the worldwide famous “Albena” Sea Resort. It is a relatively large settlement along the Northern seaside and a harbour used for medium-sized passenger and commercial vessels. The Balchik’s yacht port boasts a capacity to shelter up to 60 yachts and offers very competitive prices. The town combines the romance of its steep streets with the beauty of the sea. For a long time it has been known as the White Town for the mainly white color of its lime rocks. The chief attraction of the place is the wonderful Botanical Garden, a branch of the University of Sofia. Its ten hectares surround the small summer palace of the Romanian Queen Marie. (The area was part of Romania between 1913 and 1940). The attractive villa has the unusual addition of a minaret, said to have been built for the Queen's Turkish over. The gardens are the habitat of 3000 or so plant species of which cacti alone are over 250, and is therefore recognized as Europe's second most important collection. The gardens are set on a steep hillside, and descend in six terraces to the sea - supposedly one for each of the Queen's children. There are over three thousand varieties of shrubs, roses and flowers, set among streams, waterfalls, and ornamental water canals. There is a rock garden, a formal French one with clipped box cones and geometric beds, and an astonishing collection of cacti. Interspersed are stone thrones, seats, pillars and ornaments collected by the Queen.
