VILLA INFORMATION – FURNITURE/INTERIOR : Generally, what the images portray is what the end product will be like – our Architect’s speciality is interior design.
1. There is a water boiler, small one in kitchen and big one for upstairs bathrooms. They will be run at 80 litres, 3 Kilowatt.
2. There is a fireplace at the bottom of the stairs (Wood Burning Stove with a chimney) - this heats the house, also through piping in the walls downstairs. There are radiators in all rooms.
3. Kitchen - There will be 4 bottom cupboards after cooker, fridge and sink are installed. Upper cupboards can be installed separately at an approx cost of 350 Euros. The bottom cupboards are dark wood with chrome handles (same colour as interior pictures). Cupboards are approx 60cm across and 1 metre high.
4. There is a shower cubicle and it is enclosed – the shower will not be thermostatically controlled – the boiler will need to be switched on 1 hour before a shower or when requiring hot water. Although it does not have a timer, it has a thermostat which can be set at a certain temperature (say 60degrees) and if the boiler is switched on, it will then turn itself off when it reaches the desired temperature.
5. The Central Heating is thermostatically controlled.
6. The tiles in the bathroom will be white.
7. The walls are skimmed and painted the same colour as the interior pictures!
8. The roof will be insulated with "monodur"
9. The external wood will be treated with a wood stain to protect it from fire (to a certain extent),and weather. It also extends the life of the wood!
10. The insulation that will be used is 5cm thick polyester lining.
11. The windows will be double-glazed with wooden frames.
12. There is an under-stairs cupboard which can store skis, golf clubs, vacuum cleaner, ironing board etc, the size of the cupboard is 1.67 sq.m.
13. There is an extractor fan for the cooker in the kitchen and appropriate ventilation for the open fire. A Furniture Package is also offered for the price of 6,000 Euro.
