This is an authentic 150-years old revival house in the centre of a nice village located just 5 km away from the town of Polski Trambesh, 10 km from the town of Byala and only 55 km away from Ruse – a regional centre with rich historical heritage!
The city of Ruse is the most significant Bulgarian river port, serving an important part of the international trade of the country. Ruse is known for its 19th- and 20th-century Neo-Baroque and Neo-Rococo architecture, which attracts many tourists. The Ruse-Giurgiu Friendship Bridge, the only one in the shared Bulgarian-Romanian section of the Danube, crosses the river nearby. Some of the landmarks are the National Transport Museum; the Battenberg Palace, built 1892, which now hosts the Ruse Regional Historical Museum; the Pantheon of National Revival Heroes; the Kaliopa House, a museum depicting the old urban lifestyle; Zahari Stoyanov Museum; the Monument of Liberty; Rousse TV Tower, the tallest TV tower in Bulgaria and one of the tallest buildings on the Balkan Peninsula, etc.
The house itself consists of two floors with about 200 sq. m of living area.
A big room with fireplace and storage room are positioned on the ground floor, while the first floor has four rooms, a larder, and glazed verandah.
The construction is made from stone and trimmer joists, there are wooden floors and ceilings in an excellent condition.
An extension to the house has been built which stays as independent building and features a big room with fireplace, bathroom and a small room.
There is a backyard of approximately 2800 sq. m, with stone fence, running water and agricultural buildings in good condition. The soil is exceptionally fertile and the fruit garden is abundant in pears, apples, cherries, grapes, peaches, figs, almonds, and plums. The property has water, electricity, phone line and GSM coverage.
Both buildings and the yard face south with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. There is a river crossing the village.
The village has local shops, a restaurant, a post office, a health service, etc. Everyday bus service to the closest towns and villages is also available. The beautiful countryside of this region offers great opportunities for recreation and tourism.
