This building-land plot of 1920sq.m is situated just 100m from the centre of a scenic village 12km from the town of Provadiya, a nice rural town situated on the banks of Provadiiska River and surrounded by rock formations of stunning beauty. This ancient settlement was founded fifteen centuries ago as a fortress and a forepost of Byzantium against the militant tribes trying to invade it from the north. The Byzantines called it Provaton from which its present name was later derived. The most intriguing sights in the town of Provadia are concentrated in the reconstructed National Revival complex "Varosha" in the old town quarter. Especially interesting for the tourists are the Orthodox Christian temples “Sveto Blagoveshtenie” (Sacred Annunciation) and “Sveti Nikola” (St. Nicolas) and the mosque from C16. Another attraction is Lambovata Kashta (Lambov’s House) where visitors are welcome by the hospitable hosts with some traditional Bulgarian rituals. Tourists are also offered a sightseeing tour which includes the Ovech Fortress, the rock monastery St George, a couple of caves, a sanctuary, etc. Others may choose to go to the salt baths near Provadia which are unique for Bulgaria and whose healing effect is only matched by the famous baths in Karlovi Vari in the Czech Republic.
The village is just 52km from the Riviera city of Varna visited by tourists of every nationality. It’s a cosmopolitan place and lavishly celebrated during the “Varna Summer” and a nice one to stroll through. Baroque, turn-of-the century and contemporary architecture are pleasantly blended with shady promenades and a handsome sea garden; and there are several interesting museums. If none of this grabs you, most of the other coastal resorts can easily be reached from Varna by bus.
The village is nice and tranquil with shops, cafe, a Post Office, and a community centre. Provadiiska River is minutes away so you can enjoy going fishing or for leisurely walks along its picturesque banks.
The property is on an asphalt road and is connected to electric and water mains.
